The duo played amazingly but fell to the eventual champions team from Brother Rice 6-7, 6-1, 7-5. The Varsity B Tennis team concluded a very successful season. The team’s final record was 10-2-1 in dual meet matches with wins in both of the two tournaments in which they participated. The young team had 17 new members but showed steady improvement week by week throughout the season. Seaholm was the only team to defeat the Black Hawks during the dual meet season, but Bloomfield improved enough to defeat Seaholm in the season-ending tournament. The coaches send a special thanks to third year player Riley Pettengill (grade 12), who played two doubles the majority of his last season.
